Having several dogs is basically living in constant, lovable disorder. I really enjoy it, but it does keep me busy all the time. Every time we head outside, things quickly turn into a bit of a challenge. One dog is deeply focused on sniffing something like it’s extremely important, another is already wandering in a different direction, and I’m left trying to keep track of everyone while acting like everything is under control.
That’s why I started using a GPS dog tracker for multiple dogs, and it turned out to be more useful than I expected.
At first, I thought it was just another pet device that sounded helpful but wasn’t really needed. But after a few moments where my dogs moved farther away than I was comfortable with, I decided to try it. Now each dog has a small tracker attached to their collar, and instead of constantly worrying or scanning everywhere, I just check my phone.
What I like most is how simple it is to use. Everything appears in one app on a map. No confusion, no repeatedly calling names while walking around like I’ve lost control. Just moving dots sometimes together, sometimes scattered as they explore on their own.
The geofence feature gives me real peace of mind. I can set a safe area around my home, and if any of them go outside it, I get an instant alert. It’s a mix of relief and nervousness relief because I know immediately, and nervousness because my mind quickly thinks of worst-case situations.
The trackers are also durable, which is important since my dogs are always running, rolling, and digging without much care.
It’s not perfect. Sometimes the signal weakens or a dog hides somewhere that affects tracking, and I get a short moment of panic. But it usually corrects itself quickly now.
Overall, using a GPS tracker for multiple dogs has made managing them much easier. The chaos is still there, but it feels far more under control now.
