We Tested AirDoctor Air Purifiers: Here’s What Happened

The only way to know how efficient an air purifier is is to watch it in operation in a test. The AirDoctor test requires a confined chamber to be filled with thick red smoke. Then the purifier is turned on, and the time taken to start cleansing the chamber of its contents is observed. The visibility of the smoke in the chamber allows the changes in the chamber to be observed during the process of testing.

Maintaining Indoor Air Quality is very important in enclosed places with plenty of smoke, dust, and other particles that need to be filtered from the air. Air purifiers are useful for this, eliminating pollutants from the air around you. Smoke testing is a chance to demonstrate this function working without getting bogged down with too many technical details.

As the AirDoctor is switched on, the red smoke starts to slowly disappear from the chamber. The result is readily apparent. If there is a lot of smoke in a restricted place, one gets to see the process of it operating, not only the information about the qualities of the product.

It is also extremely handy in showing how Air Quality is altered, as the impacts are instantly obvious. For the most part, particles dispersed in the air are invisible, and it is difficult to gauge their presence. It is easy to know how good the filtering process is using the regulated chamber

In this evaluation, we have also covered another key part of the air purifier: the change of the filter. To operate an air purifier properly, it must have a filter that is neither blocked nor clogged. Eventually, after some time and with a lot of particles accumulated in the filter, it is certain to get clogged and has to be changed. The video shows the procedure of changing the AirDoctor filter.

This specific smoke removal test provides you with a relatively simple and easy-to-understand demonstration of the AirDoctor overall. The gradual clearing of the smoke provides you with a sense of how the AirDoctor handles thick particle layers in the air, while the portion on filter change illustrates the need for good device maintenance.
